Discover Ease Cancellation Policy
I believe in having a clear, simple to understand cancellation policy to help avoid confusion and form clear boundaries. Please find below a list of the cancellation policies for when you book yoga therapy, yoga classes, workshops, courses and retreats.
Yoga Class
In-person classes are non-refundable but is transferable to another class within a 12 week period only if I am able to fill the space.
Yoga therapy session
Payment for yoga therapy is required 48 hours prior to the session.
Discover Ease has a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel an appointment over 48-hours in advance, we will not charge you for the missed session. If you cancel after that, or if you cannot attend, you will still need to pay for the appointment as we have committed the time.
Exceptional circumstances
We recognise that emergencies happen, even if they are rare. If you know that you might not make an appointment, please let us know when you book it. We will try to be more accommodating in such circumstances. Similarly, if a genuine emergency prevented you from attending, and also from letting us know, we could consider waiving or reducing the cancellation fee.
Should you repeatedly make and cancel appointments, we might ask for a non-refundable pre-payment, even if you cancel ahead of the usual 48-hour window.
If Discover Ease cancels
Occasionally, circumstances might prevent us from delivering a session as agreed. We will give you as much notice as possible if this happens. We will not charge you for appointments we cancel and will do our best to re-book at a time that best suits you.
Courses
All courses are payable either upfront in full, or with a non-refundable deposit. Following receipt of deposit, the full balance is due 4 weeks prior to the commencement of training. However, we do understand that this is an investment and are happy to discuss payment plans with prospective students.
Once a deposit is made and the student is accepted onto the training course with Discover Ease the student is liable for the full training fee; there is no obligation on the part of Discover Ease or its partners to refund monies if a student decides not to complete the training.
If for any reason the student isn’t accepted onto the training, all monies will be refunded prior to the start of training.
Workshops
Bookings made onto workshops with Discover Ease generally require payment in full 7 days prior to the event. This investment is non-refundable but is transferable to another event within a 12 month period.
To cancel please email discoverease@gmail.com to arrange a transfer to another event within 12 months.
An email is also a suitable form of communication to cancel a class. Please email Discover Ease or call 07970889401.
Retreats
To book onto a retreat a deposit is required.
The remaining balance must then be paid 4 weeks before the event. If clients wish to cancel their booking, the refund policy for the remaining balance is as follows:
4 months before event: full refund (excluding deposit)
2 months before event: 50% refund (excluding deposit)
1 month before event: no refund and deposit becomes non-transferable
If for any reason a guest isn’t accepted onto the retreat, all monies will be refunded prior to its commencement.
Training for professionals
Payment for the training events are due within 4 weeks of the booking.
If your company cancels the training agreed, please provide notice of cancellation of the booking. The following charges will apply:
Within 20 weeks prior to the course date – 50 % of charges apply
Within 15 days prior to the course date – 100% of charges apply
Notice of cancellation must be sent in writing or email to Discover Ease. Failure to provide any notice will result in your company being charged the full course/training workshop fee and associated costs.
Occasionally it is necessary for courses/training workshops to be rescheduled. Discover Ease will endeavour to be flexible towards any changes. There will be no cancellation charge if at least one month’s notice is given and the rescheduled date is agreed within a three month period after the previous date.
Training cancelled by Discover Ease
If Discover ease needs to cable or reschedule a trainman they will send an email to inform you of the cancellation and, if possible provide a new date for the course. We will endeavour to give at least 10 working days notice prior to the course start date.
To cancel ANY event with Discover Ease email discoverease@gmail.com. Please note that Social Media (Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter etc) is not accepted as a suitable form of communication to cancel.
